The Effects of Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture on the Anti-allergic Function in Mice

Abstract
|
|
|
This experimental study was done to investigate the effects of Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture on the anti-allergic function in Mice.
@ES The results were obtained as follows:
@EN 1) The Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture treated group on Hapgok hyul and Choksamli hyul revealed more significant inhibitory effect than control group in the delayed type hypersensitivity response to Picryl chloride.
2) The Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture treated group on Hapgok hyul and Choksamli hyul revealed more significant inhibitory effect than control group in the delayed type hypersensitivity response to Sheep Red Blood Cell (SRBC).
3) On vascular permeability response to the intradermal injected Serotonin, the Xanthii Fructus Aqua- Acupuncture treated group on Hapgok hyul and Choksamli hyul revealed more significant decrease than control group.
4) On vascular permeability response to the intradermal injected Histamine, the Xanthii Fructus Aqua Acupuncture treated group on Hapgok hyul and Choksamli hyul revealed more significant decrease than control group.
5) In the homologous passive cutaneous assive cutaneous anaphylaxis provoked by the IgE-like antibody against white egg albumin, Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture group treated on Hapgok hyul tended to decrease, but revealed no significance. Also
Xanthii Fructus Aua-Acupuncture group treated on Choksamli hyul revealed more significant decrease than control group.
According to the above-stated results, it is considered that the Xanthii Fructus Aqua-Acupuncture could be applied widely to the type I and IV allergic disease.
